“I Love Wickless” is independent Scentsy seller Lyndsee’s motto. It’s well displayed on her site and I think it’s brilliant. With 18,000 house fires being started every year by candles left burning or knocked over, it’s nice to know there is an alternative. My husband’s father is a fire fighter and because of this I am forbidden from burning a candle. Coming from the house I came from this is just not an option in my life. The solution I have used in the past is one of those candle warmers, but let’s face it they don’t add any flare to a room and I would always try to hide mine behind something. Scentsy has brought flare and ease to this concept.
Scentsy began in 2003 with the powerfully simple idea of aromatic candles, heated in decorative warms with wax melted by the heat of a light bulb instead of by the traditional wick and flame. Scentsy’s founders shared enthusiasm for the idea, from this idea, they created a partnership and Scentsy was born. 
When did I first hear of Scentsy? After I started blogging I would see tons of giveaways for Scentsy. I tried to find a retailer in my own area and was unsuccessful, so I hit the internet. Upon hitting the internet I discovered Lyndsee’s site and thought what did I have to lose. I approached Lyndsee about a blogging partnership and here we are. Lyndsee has been a great pleasure to work with and one of the biggest surprises. I send her a list of the items that I would be interested in so that she could have choices. I don’t know many independent consultants who have a large stock and so I figured I would have to wait until something could be shipped to Lyndsee from Scentsy, imagine my surprise when I received my items three days later. Yet, the biggest surprise was, that it was actually items that I had on my list. This tells me that Lyndsee offers a huge selection of on hand items. This is great because it cuts down on waiting time. If I don’t have to wait for it to come from the company this can easily cut a week or more out of my order time.
Scentsy’s wickless systems are available in 3 sizes and more designs than I can list. If you have fallen in love with a scent, like I have with the Guava scent, than feel free to order a brick of your favorite scent which is a 1 lb. brick. This is a great cost saving method and will last considerably longer. Scentsy’s newest concept to their wickless systems is the DIY burners. You order your burner in white, brown or black and the according theme pack for your needs. Some of your choices include Sweet Sayings, Wedded Bliss, Summer Fun, Swirls & Dots, Baby Boy, etc…
Currently, Scentsy is most known for their wickless burners and 80 available scents (16 of them new!). However, Scentsy is a variety of items including Scentsy Buddy, Fragrance on the Go, Scent Circles, Scentsy Room Spray and Fragrance Foam, Scent Paks and Scentsy Travel Tins.
In 2007 candles contributed to over 2 billion dollars in sales and revenue. I am happy to convert to a safer system that can burn for 24 hours without ramifications. Scentsy offers me great design choices and variety of sizes that can be placed anywhere in my home. I will be adding a plug in warmer to my wish list (are you reading this Cory?) for a great way to add help the boys guest bathroom smell better and add a nightlight at the same time.
